Clinical Practicum (Level 3)

Welcome to our advanced clinical training program! If you have completed our 2nd year intermediate training (or a similar program elsewhere) and are ready to start putting the pieces together and applying everything that you’ve learned so far, this is your next step.

Seeds + Spirals is an in-person, practical program where we will see real-world clients together as student-clinic. This year we will meet three Thursdays a month and have an opportunity to sit with 2 clients per day. Students will take turns leading the interview, and we will work as a group to come up with recommendations for each client.

The clinic (aka Wholistic Wellness Council) is open to anyone in our community. It operates by appointment only, and we charge a $25-$45 fee per appointment. We ask that our clients commit to at least 2 follow-ups so that we can receive feedback for our formulas. Read more about how the council operates or schedule an appointment.

We also have a virtual roundtable for students to discuss clients that they see on their own, outside of our in-person meetings. The round table meets once a month and is an opportunity to discuss cases and formulas with a group of peers and mentors and counts as supervised clinical experience. Students who participate in the virtual offering must see at least 5 clients between August 2025 and April 2026.

This year, we have the honor of learning with Geo Derrick and Becca Daye. Becca will be helping to lead interviews and guide the formulation process during the in-person and virtual gatherings, and Geo will be joining us from time to time to offer case studies and her valuable insight on clients during the virtual round-table

Investment

Tuition (9 days total) – $540

Prerequisites:

Completion of an intermediate-level training program, either our Buds + Blossoms Clinical Herbalism program or a comparable program that covers anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, phytochemistry, and herbal energetics.
